Are you seeking a supportive and safe space to explore the problems in your life?
Do you find yourself repeating unhelpful patterns or behaviours? Do you feel stuck, overwhelmed or confused about how to start making changes in your behaviours or relationships? Do you want to explore how you can enrich your life and create sustained change?

We understand it can be difficult to prioritise your mental health. When you work with us, we will ensure your preferences, needs and values always guide your treatment.  There is no right way to approach therapy - you may prefer long term support or occasional check-ins. Whatever your needs are, we provide a safe and non-judgemental environment for you to start changing your relationship with your thoughts and feelings.

First Avenue Psychology is an inclusive and professional clinical psychology practice based in the beautiful seaside village of Sawtell, New South Wales. We also offer telehealth services Australia-wide.
We provide compassionate and evidence-based mental health treatment to older teens and adults for a range of emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Our highly trained psychologists utilise a range of modern therapies and will collaborate with you to develop your treatment plan. Some of the therapeutic approaches we use include cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), schema therapy, eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing and emotion-focussed therapies.
